Testo A Common Misconception

I was the night's victim, the sun is a blister, and I pulled up my hood, it covered my face. My eyes are a canvas, all painted with history of sad horrible things. And each person talks to fast, they all run to their death beds, They spit on the pretty people as they don't watch their feet. And so I twist in a pattern, I'm better than no one, I just speak empty words to turn the attention to me.
So Don't Open Your Windows, Don't turn on your TV, Just keep talking in tongues, trying to explain to yourself that somebody cares, but We're all lost in the white noise, and nobody's listening.
The tree tops are buzzing. the rifles are ringing, claiming the life of some innocent beast. The officials are stuffing their bosoms with green, from the wealthy family atop of the hill, And a cold shoulder is offered to all those pretty little girls, dancing around in the trailer park homes. And the houses stand empty, no husbands no families, just isolated people united by a certificate bill.
Just keep screaming your critics, they'll get it through their head, no woman's important unless their in your bed. Wrapped up in a blanket, too cold to know comfort, those small arms that drape around your cold neck.
The Sky is Falling, The World is Spinning, The Heavy Misconception is strangling us all.
So Keep Grabbing the Money, Keep Stabbing Your Neighbor, You Grew Up to Strangle your Innocent Heart. Keep Slapping Your Children, Keep Buying Your Freedom, They all need a role model to look up to. Keep Screaming, Keep Drinking, Keep Fighting, Keep Eating, If You'r Lucky You'll End up Miserable Too.
And I'm better than no one, I just speak empty words to turn the attention to me.
