I don't know why I get so crazy as the day goes on
The minutes slipping by feel like wasted time
I get confused, so much to do, don't know which way to turn
I run so far ahead that I can't catch my breath
Time to stop and close my eyes
And I give up on myself again

I never measure up to my own expectations
