Lying here in bed,
Sun shining on my face,
Yet still this day I dread,
Here I lay for some time wondering what the day will bring,
Wondering if today is the day I'll be blessed by anything,
All I ever want,
All I ever need,
Is just one special moment,
One beautiful moment for me,
It's been eternity and counting and still I haven't seen,
Seen that one spectacular moment,
That one special moment of which I dream,
I continue to lie here,
Hours pass so fast,
What started as Sunday morning is another Sunday passed,
So as I lay here waiting I start to close my eyes,
Monday is on it's way now,
Another day of sure demise,
I hope to not wake up,
As I'm sure it will be the same,
Another day passed,
Without one special moment to my name.
