Yeah, the nice thing is it's quite simple really. Yeah, yeah, no, well, a lot of people say to me: Well, Jesus, well, what's that all about? Well, the thing is, Jesus was an real guy. He actually lived. He actually walked around on the Earth. And He actually died. Je- Jesus died, th-they put Him on a cross. They put nails through His hands, they put nails through His feet. He was just hanging.
Do you know what God's dream is? God's dream is just that it'd be like it was in the beginning. That He'd-He'd know us and that we'd know Him. And that's the way it should be. That's what people are looking for. But the problem is, you know, we all do things wrong. We've all been hurt. We've all hurt other people. And, you know, God can't be around us because of that, 'cause He's perfect. But it breaks His heart, 'cause He really wants to be with us. So He thought, you know, He'd come up with this plan. He had an idea. So we could get together.
He sent Jesus. Now Jesus was totally God. But He was also totally like you and me. He felt pain, you know, He had compassion on people. Jesus was an ordinary guy. But there's one thing that was amazing about Him. Because He was God, He lived this totally perfect life and didn't do anything wrong.
But still we decided to kill Him! It was totally injust. But He died on a cross, and for the first time in His life He was totally seperated from God. But the difference with Jesus was that He rose again. That actually He came back from the dead.
Why did He do that?
(He rose again)
A lot of people think that death is the end. Think that's it. You die, your body goes in the ground, game over. But actually, there's your soul, there's your spirit that lives on. So God wants that to live with Him forever.
And all we have to do is believe in that. And just say Jesus, Jesus, I believe You died for me to take away all the bad stuff that I did. (Jesus took, upon Himself).
Just listen. Don't do anything. Be still. Be quiet. In the stillness let God speak to you. Cut out the noise of the world. Be still, and know the way of God.
Can you hear the call? Are you willing to go on this journey? Takes guts, it's hard. But keep your head up, keep looking forward. Never back down, never compromise. Know in one day that you will see in the eyes of Jesus a Father who loves you. A mother who cares for you. Can you feel it coming? Can you feel it coming? It's reaching out. It's calling at you, it's calling your name.
We're all searching, we're all looking. We all want something to make a difference in our lives. We all want something, we all want someone to make sense of our story. We want a bigger picture. We want to find ourselves. We want our answers to our questions. We want our answers to our answers.
Look for Jesus. Look for Jesus, He's the one you want. Look for Jesus, He's the one you need. Jesus will be your everything. Jesus will never let you down, He'll always be there for you.
Find Jesus in your questions, find Jesus in your answers. Find Jesus while you're laying on your bed, wondering what the world's about. Find Jesus while you're walking around the park. Find Jesus when you're walking down the high street, wondering what your life is about, where your worth is, where your value is, having a purpose, having a destiny.
It's Jesus Christ.
